LIL' DRAGONS (2 1/2-4 yrs)
Our Lil' Dragons class is a fun-filled exciting class that combines fundamental martial arts skills with games, exercise and learning. Your Lil' Dragon will be learning listening skills, good life skills, how to focus, respect for themselves and others, and important safety lessons as they practice fun drills and learn to do their best!
DRAGONS (4-6 yrs)
Much like our Lil' Dragons, our Dragons classes focus on fundamental martial arts, listening skills, focus, respect, and other life skills. We reinforce all theses lessons with games, exercise and fun learning. Dragon students are at a critical age where these positive skills must become habits as they enter school and new social situations.
YOUTH (7-9 yrs)
Growing up is hard work. Kids today face many challenges that didn't exist 20 years ago. As your kids enter the wider world, martial arts can help them to maintain their confidence, self esteem and give them social skills that will benefit them throughout their lives. Our Youth classes teach your child bully proofing skills, how to handle themselves in a conflict situation, and respect for themselves and others. They will have a great time practicing skills in a group environment, making friends and staying fit.
JUNIOR (10-12 yrs)
The tween years can be a particular challenge for kids and parents. Kids are beginning to break away from parents, asserting themselves and making a bid for more independence. The challenges of school, learning responsibility, new physical awareness, peer pressure and having to make tough choices can be overwhelming. Teaching kids self discipline, respect, how to make proper exercise/health choices, and good social skills is critical. Our Juniors classes will help your kids gain confidence in themselves, build good study habits, learn to work with others, physical fitness/protection skills and to respect boundaries.
TEENS (13-17 yrs)
UMAC martial arts training will help your teen build confidence, self discipline, social skills, self protection skills and a give them a positive, healthy peer group. Martial arts training is also a great way to build cardiovascular fitness, improve flexibility and balance, and develop agility for other sports. Help your teen be a success and prepare for the future.
ADULTS (18 & up)
Our Adult classes are for individuals 18 years and older. We focus on physical fitness, self defense and personal protection skills. Get in shape, improve confidence, reduce stress and have fun! It is truly a brother/sisterhood unlike any other place and adds to a feeling of life-fulfillment. Remember, it is never too late to begin training in martial arts. We have members of all ages and ability levels.
MMA (teens and adults)
MMA training is not just for the UFC. Good ground skills are good self defense skills as well. Our MMA program emphasizes proper technique as well as strength and conditioning. Whether your intention is to compete, to improve your self defense, or just get a great workout, our MMA program will help you become the well rounded martial artist you deserve to be.
WOMEN'S SELF DEFENSE (teens and adults)
Our Women's Self Defense classes emphasize self defense and personal protection skills in an encouraging, non-threatening atmosphere. You will learn and improve martial arts skills, mental awareness, self esteem and increase your level of fitness. We host seminars that are open to the public regularly. We also host private group events and can come to your location. There is no need to feel unprotected, unprepared, or misinformed in today's world. UMAC is here to teach you the skills that will save your life and potentially help you avoid ever having to use them.
